Identity theft is a little like Seinfeld. It’s been around for what seems like forever, its popularity is still strong, and it’s likely not going anywhere any time soon.
According to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, identity theft fraudsters stole over $11 million from nearly 20,000 Canadians in 2013. That’s an average of 55 victims per day each losing $550. The good news: Identity theft isn’t inevitable. Check out our SlideShare below and take the proper steps to prevent fraudsters from stealing your identity and your money.
